Whew Daggnabbit and gonediggity doo! Hi there folks this is Nathaniel Cod here again, and boy do I have some things to tell you!
It sure ain't easy being a musician! All you folks out there see is the glitz and glamour, the long hours spent not at work, sitting in comfy chairs thinking up pretty tunes to piddle out into you ear, the margaritas in the sun, the wooing of starlets at some hot downtown hotel lobby. But that's not all there is to it! No in fact there are so many more facets of this life that most people never really get to hear about, and damn it if some of those aren't really hard! I mean sheesh, when i signed up for this i thought i would be sipping mojitos in the back of the club like Biggy, not writing press junkets and blogging daily.
For example;
Today I am at home, in my shorts and T-shirt. Sounds groovy right? A nice Sunday spent relaxxxing with the fan (and yes, I do have some guy from Kentucky here with a palm leaf. What can I say, he really liked the CD) blowing cool air on your back and watching Sunday afternoon cartoons. But that's not all! No! Instead of just cruising along like a couch potato I am hard at work on my computer, typing away messages for you our fan base, editing copy for websites, (copy is an industry term for written pieces, the purpose of which is garnering publicity and giving information about the project and activities to readers - at least as far as I understand things) updating myspace and blog layouts, contacting Buddhist monks in Mongolia and arguing with my fish.
Wait...That fish thing is actually a rather fun pastime, so scratch that from my list of..erm..complaints.
Now I'm not complaining here (ignore what I said two lines above, will ya?) I'm just trying to make the point that we work hard to get this stuff out, and dammit life would be so much more fun if it were easy. I mean, even though I'm in bunny slippers sipping hot cocoa does not mean that I'm....
Oh. Wait. I am spoiled. Shucks. Well here's to living the good life, making music for you all. I'll be sipping cocoa and talking to magazine editors all day. If you need me you'll know where to look.
Codling Out.

Blinded By Views First Blog!
Hi everybody!
My Name is Nathaniel Waggoner, and I am the lead drummer and percussionist here at BBV studios. I am also in charge of this here blog! Let me know what you want to see and hear from all of us here in music land. This blog is a unique chance for us, the musicians, to give you the listener a very personal and real expierience of us and the processes of working in the studio here at KPC Maryland. Look for posts by Yeshe D. Tara M. and myself Nathaniel Waggoner.
We plan on using this space to talk about all sorts of things, from info on upcoming songs, to lyric prints and feedback from our most important resource you guys! Let us know what you want to see, check back often, and don't hesitate to tell us how we're doing!
I'd like to take this opprotunity to also list some other sites where information on BBV and our projects is available.
1) www.jetsunmamusic.com
Jetsunma is BBV's very first artist! Her music is a blend of traditional Buddhist Mantra and old time Blues Vocals over smooth Trip Hop grooves, Hip Hop attitude and Electronica soundscapes. This site has audio players for both the DELOG and Revolution of Compassion CD releases!
2) www.myspace.com/jetsunmamusic
Jetsunmas MySpace.
3) www.myspace.com/blindedbyviewproductions
Our MySpace! Add us to your friends!
4) www.blindedbyview.com
The Official website. Link to itunes, buy BBV merchandise, read bios on the band, explore the meaning and history behind the music! Don't forget the find the COD!
Look for more in the following days. I'll be selecting a few days a week that will include major blogs, as well as random things here and there so stay tuned.
Cod Out.
